MIW Gifts March

It was so nice to get together with our Mommies in Waiting group again. It was nice to have girl and mommy chat. The waitresses at the restaurant (Lone Star) were even intrigued as to why we had a lot of baby gifts on the table. We thought we had seen double at first and then realized we had twin waitresses. We told them about our group and they were excited for us and thought it was neat.

Mercy received some nice gifts again from Andrea. She did it again!!! You are so sweet and generous Andrea. Thank you. I think we got Mercy's first hair band. I think they are so cute and want to get some more for our daughter to wear. I was amazed that Catherine and Jill were able to find ladybug chocolates. How cool is that and how appropriate!!! Kathy you were sweet to bake for us all even though we just met!!! Glad to have you in our group. I enjoyed our time and had a lot of fun sharing all kinds of topics with everyone. I always learn so much more!!! We are already planning our next get together. Maybe next time I will have a picture to show you all.

Where in China?

I had an interesting time surfing "Google Earth". If you have ever gone to this site, it is amazing to think that you can see around the world on your computer screen. You just search for a place and the satellite takes you there and you can zoom in on that location.

I sat here wondering where on earth (in China) is our little daughter. Where is she living and located right this minute? Can I see her from afar??? I would just love to be able to look in on her to see if she is doing okay - or sleeping, or playing, or eating, or just being her!!! Wouldn't that be great to zoom in on loved ones from afar and just "check in" on them to see how they are doing? Of course I think you would probably class that as "voyeurism" or something. It would just warm a mother-to-be's heart just to ensure her soon-to-be daughter is fine and well. For now we just have to trust that the Lord is looking over you little one and protecting and blessing you and keeping you whilst we are apart!!! It has to be soon that we get to see your face!!! To love it even more than we do right now!!! Just wait little one - we are coming soon!!!!

Will it be soon???

Well, I can't believe it is March 12 already. Practically through March. I know in my heart it won't be long now before we meet our little China Pearl. We can't wait. Perhaps we will have news by April and the Grandmas will know by their birthdays what their new granddaughter looks like!!!

Daddy to be is getting quite excited, as am I. We are planning events and things to do together. Imagining the days with our little one. Spring walks with the Stroller. Swimming lessons in the summer. Fun days playing the grass in the backyard - which we will have by then we pray!!!! Daddy to be is already planning father-daughter days out!!!

Our prayer is Psalm 91 that He will be your refuge until we are together. We believe in our heart He will keep you in the shelter of his wings and He will command His angels concerning you and guard you in all your ways.
